摘要: Amorphous Al86Ni6Y6Ce2 (at. pct) flakes produced by melt spinning were consolidated using hot pressing at different conditions. The influence of conditions on the crystallization behavior, thermal stability, and mechanical properties alloy has been studied through differential scanning calorimetry, electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, microhardness, compression test. results show rapid solidification combined with consolidation produce a highly dense sample (3.41 ± 0.2 g cm−3) ideal interflake bonding, good microhardness (381 12 HV), remarkably high strength (910 7 MPa) 20 pct fracture strain obtained T = 748 K (475 °C) P 1.2 GPa in lightweight Al-based material. mainly result from structural refinement during controlled method.
