摘要: Leaf abscisic acid (ABA) levels of chilled P. vulgaris were measured after 18 h chilling at 5 °C, a saturation deficit 1-24 g m-3 (SD), and in water-saturated atmosphere. Changes also followed during chill hardening period 4 d 12 2-1 m~3 SD. It was found that resulted an almost 5-fold increase ABA 3 this decreased to approximately control on the fourth day. Subsequent hardened plants produced no change from (22 °C). In contrast, non-hardened SD had times level plants. However, atmosphere decrease levels. addition, response leaf diffusion resistance (LDR) exogenous fed via transpiration stream °C 22 Use tritium-labelled made calculate stomatal sensitivity ABA. caused increased LDR both greater terms rate closure amount required close stomata.
