摘要: To the Editor:Although it is a major factor affecting qual-ity of life in end stage renal disease (ESRD), sexualdysfunction receives very limited attention fol-low up dialysis patients (1). Successful dialysisimproves most symptoms ESRD, yet many pa-tients continue to experience forms during treatment (2). Sexu-ality was fifth important stressor citedby 135 study quality-of-lifeissues (3). More than half suffering fromESRD and receiving describesexual dysfunction, commonly loss inter-est sexual activity (1,4). Despite importanceof these issues, only 25 % discuss sexualfunction with their physicians Moreover, hasbeen noted that lack knowledge about sexuality,conservative attitudes toward sexuality, anxi-ety when discussing concerns are widespreadamong health care providers (5).Sexual dysfunction addresses alterations re-lated drive, arousal, penile erection/vaginal lu-brication, ability reach orgasm satisfactionwith (6); all affected by ESRD.
