摘要: Supertree methods combine information from multiple phylogenies into a larger, composite phylogeny. When there is no disagreement between the source phylogenies, constructing supertree straightforward. But in (nearly universal) presence of trees, seek to either represent or resolve this conflict. Existing that conflict trees do so an ad hoc way. Gene tree parsimony method can molecular for overlapping taxon sets and interprets these biologically meaningful We review discuss relationship gene other methods. Finally, we suggest better understanding causes should lead appropriate ways resolving when supertrees.
