摘要: The adhesion between neighboring neurons is sometimes reinforced by adherent junctions. These junctions are characterized, with few exceptions, the presence of symmetrical plaques dense material applied to cytoplasmic face two apposed plasma membranes and fine filaments converging upon these plaques. Along midline intercellular space, which at junction slightly wider than elsewhere, a thin line parallel can be seen. Interneuronal generally very small (Fig. 5.16) hence referred as puncta adhaerentia. At junctions, cell cohesion maintained molecules belonging mainly cadherin family.
