摘要: Reduced glutathione, a thiol, is essential to the survival of cells most aerobic organisms. It present intracellularly and provides protection from hydroperoxides free radicals. This unit describes continuous spectrophotometric assay for reductase activity: it follows reduction glutathione disulfide reduced by monitoring oxidation NADPH as visualized decrease in absorbance at 340 nm.
