摘要: Abstract Dormancy is a state of reduced metabolic activity adopted by organisms during periods environmental stress, including physiological and biochemical adaptations. In this study, the immunological statuses two populations Isostichopus badionotus with different times dormancy (B12 = 12 months B24 = 24 months) are compared physiologically active population (BC = control). The coelomic liquid (CL) 18 from each batch (B24, B12, BC) was used to perform analysis. body volume dormant I. decreased exponentially as time passed under stable conditions. total protein B24 (9.26 mg/ml) lower than that B12 (15.64 mg/ml) BC (13.21 mg/ml). Carbohydrate content similar in both groups (B24 B12) but control (6.93 mg/ml). cholesterol (0.40 mg/ml) significantly higher levels control. Activities superoxide dismutase (T-SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GPx) were BC. Phenoloxidase sea cucumbers (37.3 U/ml). for appears be fairly light state, involving no changes cannot rapidly reversed. contrast, showed deterioration their antioxidant complex low lipid reserves after 48 months, suggesting return an would impossible.
