摘要: Purpose: To evaluate the success of treatments aimed at resolution peri-implantitis in patients with osseointegrated implants. Materials and Methods: The potentially relevant literature was assessed independently by two reviewers to identify case series comparative studies describing treatment a follow-up least 3 months. Medline, Embase, Cochrane Library were searched. For purposes this review, composite criterion for successful outcome used which comprised implant survival mean probing depth < 5 mm no further bone loss. Results: A total 43 publications included: 4 papers nonsurgical series, 13 10 interventions, 15 14 surgical 11 6 interventions. No trials comparing interventions found. length varied from months 7.5 years. Due heterogeneity study designs, definitions, variables, reporting, meta- analysis performed. Eleven could be evaluated according criterion. Successful outcomes 12 reported 0% 100% treated 9 75% 93% implants 2 studies. Commonalities approaches between included (1) pretreatment phase, (2) cause-related therapy, (3) maintenance care phase.
