摘要: Multiple sclerosis is an inflammatory autoimmune disease of central nervous system (CNS) in which cells release pro-inflammatory cytokines, proteases, and other toxic mediators. Proteases are involved many aspects process. There reports regarding the effect proteases on inflammation. Chymotrypsin a serine protease with anti-inflammatory effect. We investigated chymotrypsin experimental encephalomyelitis (EAE), animal model multiple sclerosis. Intra-CSF injection 0.1 mg/ml, 0.2 mg/ml chymotrypsin, or saline was done day 7 after EAE induction. Our study demonstrated that treatment did not decrease clinical signs, but ameliorated signs manipulated immune response both brain spinal cord. Administration led to decreased IL-17 along increased IL-4 FoxP3 chymotrypsin-treated animals. Presumably, acts dose-dependent manner concentrations more than may have beneficial
