Study of structural, ferromagnetic and ferroelectric properties of nanostructured barium doped Bismuth Ferrite

摘要: Abstract Nanostructured multiferroic Bi (1− x ) Ba FeO 3 =0.0, 0.1, 0.2 were prepared by hydrothermal technique. All samples belonged to the rhombohedrally distorted perovskite structure. The morphology of particles changed with doping barium. Effect barium on dielectric constant was studied over a wide frequency range 1000 Hz–1 MHz. activation energy due relaxation and conduction measured from Cole plot AC conductivity versus respectively. estimated both studies close each other. also enhanced increase in content. magnetization at highest available field (~1.6 T) increased 0.05 emu/g for sample =0.0–12 emu/g =0.2. magnetic measurements show significant around 400 °C. Remnant polarization =0.0 negligible it 0.06 µC/cm 2
