摘要: Seoul South Korea metro line 9 has a relatively short (27 km) length and dispatches express local trains alternately with 3-min headway. Despite minimal time saving more crowded conditions regard to trains, the passenger dependence on them is growing. The present study investigated potential reasons for this seemingly irrational phenomenon during peak hours. A multinomial logit model was set up based only route-specific variables, such as travel times proportion of express-train-involved time. Furthermore, influence trip-related properties, individual-specific characteristics, latent factors preference identified by adopting an interaction variable model. As result, transferrals from, or to, other lines, had positive choice but those who regularly used were less dependent trains. Passengers pre-trip plans tended prefer use Regarding passengers well aware system sensitive sanitation choose while comfort avoid
