摘要: Maintaining photosynthetic performance and remobilization of assimilates stored in vegetative tissues are strategies superior wheat genotypes under drought stress conditions. To better understand the response to at grain filling period, transcript profiling genes encoding fructan sucrose metabolism were studied stem (penultimate internode) root two drought-tolerant genotypes. Based on a preliminary screening, cultivars T-65-7-1 (the mutant line) Tabasi (wild type) selected for further study with respect parameters associated photosynthesis rain-fed The expression genes, chlorophyll content relative water sharply reduced compared Tabasi, as result drought-induced leaf senescence. Under stress, was significantly higher than which due over-expressed involved synthesis hydrolysis fructan, well synthesis, transport sucrose. depicted similar assimilate behaviours stress. yield reduction less during therefore, grains more effective strategy maintenance conditions period. This research provides valuable molecular indicators selecting high increased breeding programs.
