摘要: In wheat, stem water soluble carbohydrates (WSC), composed mainly of fructans, are the major carbon sources for grain filling during periods decreasing photosynthesis or under drought stress after anthesis. Here, in a field experiment, WSC levels and associated enzyme activities were followed different segments (peduncle, penultimate internode, lower parts stem, sheath) filling. The focus was on two double haploid (DH) lines, DH 307 338, derived from Westonia/Kauz cross, drought-tolerant wheat varieties that follow adaptation strategies results showed irrigated plants, period between 20 30 days anthesis (DAA), 70-80% fructans. Before this period, fructan proportion varied 10 to 60%, depending location along stem. Under drought, changed, genotype, developmental stages. After anthesis, fructans accumulation occurred peduncle internode until 14 DAA both with clear genotypic variation subsequent degradation drought. significant reduction concomitant increase fructose earlier sheath, as compared 338 other lines. This an weight thousand 307. Spatiotemporal analysis dynamics enzymatic metabolism revealed several types FEHs involved remobilization
