摘要: Abstract The effect of Direct Blue 15 dye (DB-15) on the corrosion aluminum AA5005 in 3% NaCl solution was studied using gravimetric techniques. results indicate that DB-15 acts as an inhibitor environment by adsorption metal surface. inhibition efficiency found to increase with concentration and attained 90.8% at 400 ppm. temperature behavior range 298 K 328 K. performance also tested immersing electrochemical methods; potentiodynamic polarization (PP) curves impedance spectroscopy (EIS). PP measurements showed can be considered mixed-type predominant anodic action efficiencies improve concentration. Electrochemical reveal resistance oxide film increases concentrations. alloy surface obeyed Langmuir isotherm. values calculated from weight loss, polarization, are good agreement.
