Female-male differences in health-related behaviours in the Italian university student population: Perspectives from the “Sportello Salute Giovani” Project

摘要: Summary. This paper discusses the female-male diff erences in health status, health-related behaviours and self-perceived of a large sample population Italian university students enrolled “Sportello Salute Giovani” Project (SSGP). The Health Behaviours School-aged Children (HBSC) questionnaire was modifi ed by committee professors experts National Institute order to adapt it age range. fi nal consisted 93 multiple choice questions distributed 10 universities. 8516 were included survey (67% females). Signifi cant found between females males almost all healthrelated explored study. A great erence nutritional habits, where generally seem pay more attention healthy behaviours. However, show suff er from stress, have lower level acceptance their own bodies health. Males higher tendency for risky behaviour need become aware importance routine andrological examinations. It would be appropriate develop implement promotion disease prevention strategies that are specifi cally targeted address sex-specifi c been observed.
