摘要: Rationale and Objectives. The authors attempted to determine whether the use of nonionic contrast media causes uptake iodine by thyroid be blocked these agents could cause iodine-induced hyperthyroidism. Materials Methods. Twenty-eight persons, including 22 with disease, were included in study. Subjects underwent computed tomography (CT) after injection 100 mL iohexol. Thyroid function variables measured before CT scanning 1 week month later. In 16 subjects, iodine-131 was CT. Results. I-131 reduced 53.4% at iohexol but became normal within a few weeks (followed up one patient). An accelerated escape from seen during 1st days administration. Eight patients an underlying disease had temporary change function. four patients, serum thyrotropin level increased other hyperthyroidism developed following months. Conclusion. Iohexol can used close monitoring months is necessary.
