摘要: The absorption spectrum of neon in the region 20-150 eV has been studied photographically and photoelectrically, using synchrotron light as a background source. Discrete structure observed three distinct energy ranges. first is between $^{2}{P}^{\ensuremath{\circ}}_{\frac{1}{2}, \frac{3}{2}}$ limits near 22 eV, involving resonances analogous to those by Beutler Ar, Kr, Xe; second 44 60 here being classified due two types excitation: (i) excitation subshell $2s$ electron, (ii) simultaneous outer $2p$ electrons; third 80 where weak are observed, electron. resonance profiles states $2s2{p}^{6}\mathrm{np}^{1}{P}^{\ensuremath{\circ}}_{1}$, $n=3,4, \mathrm{and} 5$, two-electron state $2{p}^{4}(^{3}P)3s3p^{1}{P}^{\ensuremath{\circ}}_{1}$ have quantitatively values $q$, $\ensuremath{\Gamma}$, $\ensuremath{\rho}$ determined for each.
