摘要: Glioblastoma multiforme is the most frequent, aggressive and fatal type of brain tumor. Glioblastomas are characterized by their infiltrating nature, high proliferation rate resistance to chemotherapy radiation. Recently, oncologic therapy experienced a rapid evolution towards “targeted therapy,” which employment drugs directed against particular targets that play essential roles in proliferation, survival invasiveness cancer cells. A number molecules involved signal transduction pathways used as molecular for treatment various tumors. In fact, inhibitors these have already entered clinic or undergoing clinical trials. Cellular receptors clear examples such case glioblastoma multiforme, some ligands become relevant. this review, importance signaling initiated extracellular tyrosine kinase EGFR, PDGFR IGF-1R will be discussed. We describe ligands, family members, structure, activation mechanism, downstream molecules, well interaction among pathways. Lastly, we provide an up-to-date review current targeted therapies cancer, employ benefits.
