摘要: Abstract This review discusses the application of quantum dots (QDs), gold nanoparticles (NPs), and molecular switches in optical nucleic-acid diagnostics. The size-dependent properties nanoscale materials, as well ability to tailor both material surface composition NPs, create exciting new possibilities analyses. Similarly, assemblies nucleic acids that generate “on-off” responses at single-molecule (or particle) level offer significant advantages Areas interest this include: 1) QDs fluorescence-in-situ-hybridization, microarrays, fluorescence resonance energy transfer signal enhancement; 2) or silver NPs colorimetric detection, quenching, chemiluminescence, electrochemiluminescence; and, 3) advances design beacons, hairpin probes other diagnostic constructs. We provide brief perspectives on potential lanthanide probes, diagnostics living cells.
