摘要: The species Homo heidelbergensis is central to many discussions about recent human evolution. For some workers, it was the last common ancestor for subsequent sapiens and neanderthalensis; others regard as only a European form, giving rise Neanderthals. Following impact of genomic studies indicating hybridization between modern humans both Neanderthals “Denisovans”, status these separate taxa now under discussion. Accordingly, clarifying fundamental debate origins. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
