摘要: Abstract Broiler chickens were exposed to 0, 50, 100 and 200 ppm of ammonia in the atmosphere during 0- 28-day brooding period; exposure was stopped after 28 days. Ammonia adversely affected weight gains, feed conversion, mortality brooding. Birds weighed significantly less at market age even though The effect on however, reversed grow-out so that ammonia-exposed birds had better conversions 49 days than those not exposed, primarily because reduced body size for birds. When kept additional time compensate growth, conversion increased about same as non-exposed
