摘要: Manganese cluster ions Mnk+ (k≲60) have been produced by 7 keV Xe ion bombardment and analyzed a double-focusing mass spectrometer. Discontinuous variations of intensity are found atk=5, 14, 16, 29, 34, 45 54. Most these magic numbers coincide with or differ only one from those observed in Ark+. The similarity between Ark+ indicates that the bonding nature charged Mn clusters is similar to Ar clusters; polarization force positive center surrounding neutral atoms dominant binding force.
