摘要: Cell proliferation and patterning must be coordinated for the development of properly proportioned organs. If same molecules were to control both processes, such coordination would ensured. Here we address this possibility in Drosophila wing using Dpp signaling pathway. Previous studies have shown that forms a gradient along AP axis patterns wing, receptors are autonomously required cell proliferation, ectopic expression either or an activated receptor, Tkv(Q253D), causes overgrowth. We extend these findings with detailed analysis effects on growth proliferation. Increasing by expressing Tkv(Q253D) accelerated cycle progression coordinate cell-autonomous manner.
