Effect of structural phase transition on magnetic and optical properties of co-substituted bismuth ferrite

摘要: Abstract Beside the disappearance of characteristics superlattice reflections for R 3 c space group as (1 1 3) at 2θ =37.8°, typical Pbnm (1 1 1) =25.42° well their new such (0 2 1), (0 2 3) and (2 2 1) =34.14°, 47.69° 47.82° which are characteristic antiparallel cation displacements has appeared 7.5% co-substitution (Eu in Bi site Mn Fe site) BiFeO . Morphological phase boundary been observed around have enhanced remnant magnetization about 20 times that pure one it could be due to suppression cycloid spin structure canting surface nanocrystallites. Further increase percentage (>7.5%) leads reduction appearance collinear antiferromagnetic ordering becomes significant higher percentage. The analysis diffuse reflectance spectra shows point symmetry breaking from O h C 3v supports modification local FeO 6 environment structural transition.
