摘要: Abstract We report on the use of flow injection analysis with amperometric detection (FIA-EC) to evaluate potential using diamond electrodes for three estrogenic compounds: estrone, 17-β-estradiol, and estriol. Amperometric was performed a cathodically pretreated boron-doped electrode that offered low background current, relatively limits detection, good response reproducibility stability. For all compounds, linearity observed over concentration range tested, 0.10 3.0 μmol L−1, sensitivity ca. 10 mA L mol−1, minimum (S/N≥3) 0.10 μmol L−1 (~27 μg L−1). The variability multiple injections 10% (RSD) 20 injections. oxidation reaction does not proceed through an adsorbed state like it glassy carbon. After initial current attenuation, exhibited stable (oxidation current) 3 days continuous use, indicative minimal surface contamination or fouling by intermediates products. method estrone assessed spiked city tap local river water. Estrone recoveries in water samples presented standard deviations less than 10%. In summary, FIA-EC enables sensitive, reproducible, stable, quick, inexpensive determination compounds samples.
