摘要: Schools are an important context for both basic and applied scientific research. Unlike the laboratory, however, physical social conditions of schools not under exclusive control scientists. In this article, we liken collecting data in to putting on a theatrical production. We begin by describing large cast characters whose collaborative efforts make school-based research possible. Next, address critics, including university Institutional Review Board (IRB) school administrators, feedback often improves final study design. then turn our attention set building, stage directions, rehearsals - key steps iterative process refining procedures. end with discussion day collection itself activities that take place after curtain drops.
