摘要: Abstract It is argued that models of the demand for consumer durables would be strengthened by introduction a behavioral element reflecting nature decision making process within individual household. A possible behavioural model described. suggested this consist following elements: general economic confidence (derived from personal expectations and attitudes to situation): durable purchasing orientation (including willingness devote resources purchasesand house moving expectations); specific product choice considerations orders acquisition new durables: implicit depreciation existing equipment; perceptions characteristics products; purchase expectations). Such more extensive than normally described others working in field. The interaction between different variables discussed. shown all these elements can estimated through regular surveys so made operational forecasting purposes. However, it needs recognised there are also unexpected even as which will affect outcome circumstances considered.
