摘要: Abstract A simple procedure for the isolation of antithrombin (AT) from different biological fluids is described. This method utilizes high molecular weight dextran sulphate in presence calcium ions as a first preliminary step to remove most other heparin binding proteins prior heparin-affinity chromatography. Such does not affect free AT but rather allows much improved yield be obtained with higher heparin-cofactor activity. By utilizing samples differing species, results obtained, illustrate only capable removing proteases likely complex during affinity chromatography it can effectively preformed contaminating AT/protease complexes well.
