摘要: Objective: Approximately 15-20% of clinically recognizable pregnancies end in spontaneous abortion. The incidence chromosomal abnormalities those abortions is as high 50%.A modest but important proportion caused by a balanced aberration one the parents. This results from production gametes and embryos with unbalanced chromosome sets. clinical consequences such abnormal include sterility, recurrent abortions, giving birth to malformed children. Until now, no studies have been done Khozestan province. Therefore, purpose this study was evaluate frequency nature that lead province, which should help physicians working region realize contribution cases repeated fetal loss. Also it compares our other countries research centers. evaluated 142 abortion during 1-year period study. Methods Materials methods: For routine cytogenetic analysis, 3 ml peripheral blood incubated complete lymphocyte culture medium colchicine added at prophase stage for fixing chromosomes. Then, they were categorized G-banding method. Results: A total 116 history examined age referred women ranged 20 43 years an average 28 (SD = 4.75). Meanwhile, men 22 44 32.8 4.86). number previous varied 2 5 (an 2.82 per case). In addition, 8 females (12.7%) 6 males (11.3%) found karyotypes. These four translocations, deletion, inversion eight mosaic condition. Among karyotype, maternal 29 3.25). karyotype 3.07 0.83). Conclusion: correlation abnormality P=0.083 P=0.107.
