摘要: Abstract : Hyperthermia and thermal ablation are therapies in which the cytotoxic effects of elevated temperatures tissue induced to achieve cell death or render cells more vulnerable ionizing radiation chemical toxins. In application a approach, high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) microwave (HIFW) have been explored for various medical conditions. Our research is primarily directed at addressing severe limitations HIFU, that is, very slow treatment times large, deep lesions, including those close chest wall, by combining HIFU HIFW, each modality, introducing new techniques substantially enhance results. Two modalities will capitalize on advantages situations, allow comparison as progresses vivo studies. this collaborative research, work between Microwave Ultrasound groups being conducted develop technique synergize fast heat delivery properties microwaves with spatial resolution ultrasound. This particular progress report portion its future integration system.
