Energy and Absorption Spectra of One‐Dimensional Exciton‐Phonon System

摘要: Based on the recursion method of calculation Green's function, energy and absorption spectra a one-dimensional system Frenkel excitons interacting with dispersionless optical phonons are investigated in wide range parameters. It is shown that there exist three regions parameters, which correspond to qualitatively different spectra. In first region, reveal features peculiar vibronic exciton. The second region characterized by existence large number exciton-phonon complexes manifesting themselves absorption. appearance such can be regarded as considerable softening chain around excitation. third coexistence two types states observed throughout Brillouin zone. latter stable an intermediate coupling exciton decaying nearly free exciton, dispersion curve strongly influenced anticrossing peculiarity combined density states.
