摘要: By its development of improved media for dissemination information, the National Library Medicine is fostering a greater awareness and better understanding research efforts in behalf public health clinical medicine, more rapid translation into application. The library's transformation from passive repository information to an active ally researcher, teacher, clinician has led increased use medical library facilities stimulated thinking through communication published information. success using automation bibliographic control literature suggests that other disciplines have not already developed automated techniques literature-reference retrieval might profitably do so.
