摘要: We consider the possibility that sterile neutrinos exist and admit a description as unparticles; we call these unsterile neutrinos. then examine nature of neutrino oscillations in model where an can mix with two active flavors very simple mass matrix seesaw type. Despite simplifications, find number remarkable features, all which will occur generically when more realistic cases are considered. These include momentum dependent mixing angles, invisible decay widths for unsterile-like mode, well inheritance nonvanishing spectral density massive activelike modes. also obtain disappearance appearance probabilities interference effects between consequence threshold effects, yielding new oscillatory contributions different oscillation lengths. only measurable on short baseline experiments because there both suppressed compared to canonical neutrino, thereby providing diagnostics tool discriminate from conclude discussion whether phenomena could aid reconciliation LSND MiniBooNE results.
