摘要: In this study, an experimental and numerical analysis is done to study the flow characteristics of offset non-offset axisymmetric jet impingement on a circular cylinder. The purpose investigation behavior cutting gas jets finding optimum distance between nozzle cylinder achieve maximum performance. Finite volume approach used solve governing equations for turbulent, incompressible numerically. According literature suitable turbulence model realizable k-e. Velocity pressure fields around shear stress distribution surface are determined various cases. Also, some experiments validate repeatability results. Comparisons results measurements accuracy show that if horizontal outlet stagnation point 2.5D, has value. Therefore in situation performance procedure.
