摘要: This article explores the relationship between Indigenous knowledge, mapping, and contemporary GIS applications. It commences with an introduction to peoples as well a review of reasons why are mapping. Using diffusion innovation model organizational framework, then examines adoption use by peoples, based on published literature authors' fieldwork, personal observations, experiences. Attention is drawn research areas issues that seem lacking or poorly addressed. Suggestions for future inquiry advance understanding high-technology mapping recording communication knowledge offered.
