摘要: This study was focused on characterization of extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL)-producing Escherichia coli isolates from chickens and CTX-M associated plasmid addiction systems (PASs) in E. animals using molecular methods. In total, nine (9.0%) the 100 chicken samples examined produced type ESBL namely CTX-M-14 (n=4), CTX-M-15 CTX-M-1 (n=1). All them harbored an additional blaTEM-1 gene. Transfer blaCTX-M gene observed eight out blaCTX-M-positive by conjugation. Plasmid profiling transconjugants revealed a high-molecular weight (95-165 kb) plasmid. Pulsed-field gel electrophoresis showed that most CTX-M-producing were genetically diverse. Furthermore, investigation 92 conjugation-positive strains carrying genes pigs (n=76), (n=8), dogs (n=8) identified 230 PASs parental 118 their transconjugants. Among them, hok-sok, pemKI, pndAC frequently represented both Moreover, hok-sok pemKI strongly to IncF plasmids system IncI1-Iγ plasmids. Our results suggest rapid spread among could be attributed presence multiple To our knowledge, this is first report pigs, chickens, dogs. addition, detected for time Korea.
