摘要: Abstract Background Shoulder assessment in rehabilitation is focused on kinematic properties due to the variability of symptomatology and clinical expression shoulder injuries. Aim To perform a receiver operating characteristic analysis variables involved functional mobility that allow identification discriminating between healthy diseased shoulders during scaption motion. Method Analytical cross-sectional study diagnostic effectiveness was performed 27 subjects suffering from damage 14 asymptomatic controls. Scaption kinematics were evaluated using four inertial sensors placed humerus, scapula, forearm sternum. Three (mobility, velocity acceleration) obtained each sensor norm resultant vector calculated axis. A discriminatory performed, obtaining area under curve, sensitivity specificity. Findings Significant differences both vectors axis depended body segment analysed observed. Greater movement acceleration observed group. Receiver analysis, scapular protraction-retraction distinguished with 83.3% specificity 90.9% shoulder-damaged patients. These diagnosis values 72.7% for anterior-posterior velocity. Scapular kinematics, terms velocity, are key assessment. Interpretation This discriminated patients based found be assessment, along humerus.
