摘要: Switched reluctance machines with segmental rotors are investigated, building on previous work which has produced high torque prototypes. The paper presents a machine topology, permits the use of short pitched windings placed around single-tooth. This concept maintains capability design, but uses much less copper volume. theoretical basis for configuration is developed and then results working prototype shown, illustrating static flux linkage profiles. Results presented operating as drive, indicating viability concept.
