摘要: This paper considers the design and analysis of a field wound, flux switching motor where both armature windings are placed on stator. Different machine topoogies slot-segment combinations considered in an attempt to obtain high torque density fault tolerant performances such as those required aerospace industry. The highly demanding application terms results outer rotor approach being selected. Optimisation with respect geometry is addressed analytically validated through finite element simulations.
