摘要: Drug-induced liver injury (DILI) is a complex diagnosis dominantly based of exclusion. Currently available causality assessment instruments are considered to be suboptimal. Expert opinion appears best method adjudicate causality, but impractical implement on wide scale basis. Thus, new approaches needed, for example, improving the specificity current scoring systems. A further option would develop system that utilizes computer-based scoring—which reduce human error. Additionally, it ideal have drug-specific systems, drugs’ characteristic “phenotypes” (presentation and pattern injury). Eventually, validated could integrated within electronic health information This review highlights an avenue improved tool.
