摘要: A mutant strain (nf-I) of Hydra magnipapillata was isolated that contained no interstitial cells, nerve cells or nematocytes. This appeared spontaneously in a sexually inbred clone hydra, and it recognized by its inability to eat. When force-fed, however, grew, multiplied budding regenerated. In this many other respects, nf-I very similar the cell-deficient produced Campbell (1976) means colchicine. chimera reintroduction from another into nf-I. The properties nf-I, related strains were examined, possible roles play growth morphogenesis hydra are discussed.
