摘要: The genetic approach for the study of hydra development promises to be a powerful one. This approach, however, has been attempted only in few cases (Lenhoff, 1965; Moore and Campbell, 1973; Sugiyama Fujisawa, 1977 a), presumably because ( 1) hydra's sexual reproduction is sporadic, slow, difficult control; (2) design efficient screening procedures mutants appears at present not practical.
