摘要: Increasing space limitations for disposal of solid waste and shortages raw materials plastic have increased the need recycling. However, printed surfaces cannot be effectively recycled unless inks are removed. The use surfactants deinking rather than organic solvents or chlorine bleaches is environmentally attractive. In this study, effect cationic surfactant concentration, pH, process temperature, pre-soaking time, shaking time abrasion were investigated blue solvent-based ink on rigid high density polyethylene surfaces. (n-hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide) was effective only at concentrations above critical micelle concentration (CMC) pH levels (11.75 above). Both below CMC, removal promoted by increasing time. presence an abrasive also helped to detach loosened from surface. Solubilization appears important mechanism aiding deinking.
