摘要: The aliphatic ether 1,6-dimethoxyhexane (DMH) was previously identified as a testicular toxicant. Testis protein extracts from control and DMH-treated rats were subjected to two-dimensional gel electrophoresis for comparison of expression profiles. MALDI-ToF peptide mass fingerprinting differentially expressed proteins resulted in the conclusive identification heat shock-related 70 kDa 2 (HSP70.2), 60 shock protein, mitochondrial precursor (HSP60) disulfide isomerase A3 (ERp60). potential involvement these chemically induced perturbation spermatogenesis their utility biomarkers toxicity are discussed light knowledge currently available literature. © 2007 Elsevier B.V.
