摘要: In a rat model of stroke, the spatio-temporal distribution α-smooth muscle actin-positive, (αSMA+) cells was investigated in infarcted hemisphere (ipsilateral) and compared with contralateral hemisphere. At day 3 postischemia, αSMA+ were concentrated two main loci within ipsilateral (Area A) medial corpus callosum B) midway through striatum adjacent to lateral ventricle. By 7 further by 14, fewer remained Areas A B but steady increase peri-infarct observed. also expressed glial acidic fibrillary protein [GFAP: αSMA+/GFAP+ (29%); αSMA+/GFAP− (71%) phenotypes] feline leukemia virus C receptor 2 (FLVCR2), not ED1(microglia) established markers pericytes normally located vascular wall. close subventricular zones (SVZ) B. conclusion, have been identified spatial temporal sequence from SVZ, at intermediate vicinity peri-infarct. It is hypothesized that novel populations precursors are born on migrate into region incorporated new vessels regions.
