摘要: Plasmonic structures are known to support the modes with subwavelength volumes in which field matter interactions greatly enhanced. Coupling between molecular excitations and plasmons leading formation of plexcitons has been investigated for a number organic molecules. However, plasmon-exciton coupling metal semiconductor have not experienced same degree attention. In this work we show that very strong regime Rabi energy exceeds exciton binding is attainable cladded plasmonic nanoparticles leads Wannier Exciton Plasmon Polariton (WEPP) bound nanoparticle characterized by dramatically smaller (by factor few) excitonic radius correspondingly higher ionization energy. This exceeding approaching 100meV CdS/Ag may make room temperature Bose Einstein condensation polariton lasing plasmonic/semiconductor possible
