摘要: Abstract Imaging is routinely used for clinical and diagnostic purposes, but techniques capable of high specificity resolution the early detection nerve injury are still limited. In this study, we found that heat shock protein 27 (HSP27) becomes highly upregulated within 3 to 7 days injury. Taking advantage expression pattern, conjugated gold nanorods (GNRs) HSP27-specific antibodies generate a nanoprobe (GNR-HSP27Abs) could be targeted site detected by near-infrared photoacoustic imaging. Notably, images acquired 12hours after local administration GNR-HSP27Abs demonstrated can distinguish between injured uninjured nerves in rats. Taken together, these findings expand application nanoprobe-targeted imaging nerves, prompt further development novel platform application.
