摘要: Diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) is one of the most common diabetic chronic complications. There an increased attention directed towards role angiogenic factors including vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and anti-angiogenic soluble endoglin (sEng) as contributors to microvascular complications neuropathy. The purposes this study were determine these angiogenesis regulators in prognosis DPN. group included 60 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) 20 clinically healthy individuals. divided into two groups. Group I T2DM without neuropathy, II consisted 40 In all groups, plasma VEGF, sEng endothelin-1 (ET-1), nitric oxide ET-1 mRNA estimated. Plasma levels sEng, significantly elevated (Groups II) compared control subjects, a higher increase their DPN Measurement angiogenesis-related biomarkers high-risk might identify who later develop DPN, thus providing opportunities for early detection targets novel treatments.
