摘要: Summary Objective Genetic factors are involved in determining bone mineral density (BMD) and the pathogenesis of osteoporosis. There relationships between various genetic polymorphisms BMD or turnover. The aim our study was to assess vitamin D receptor (VDR) gene ( BsmI ) relation turnover a group Polish postmenopausal women from Lower Silesia region. Materials Methods at lumbar spine proximal femur, (osteocalcin carboxyterminal cross-linked telopeptide type I collagen, ICTP), restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) VDR using enzyme were examined 116 women. Results Despite fact that we failed detect statistically significant differences genotypes BMD, trend towards higher carrying allele b compared with wild-type subjects is similar previous reports. We also observed frequency control (normal mass) osteopenic/osteoporotic (59.1% vs 40.0%). lower activity resorption marker ICTP seen carriers could be involved. Conclusion report an association decreased region, but this requires further robust studies for confirmation.
