摘要: Abstract Feeding habits and interspecific trophic niche overlap of two sympatric predators, the pine marten Martes martes red fox Vulpes vulpes, were studied in a deciduous forest habitat Hungary with conditions differing abundance dominance rodent community. The main food source predators consisted small mammals, mainly rodents. Consumption mammals was higher during bank vole Clethrionomys glareolus dominated years than Apodemus mice years. Both preferred voles as prey consumed less shrews (Soricidae) expected by availability. opportunistic utilised different, seasonally-dependent resources.
